The ALPICO Group was originally founded as the ‘Chikuma Railway Co., Ltd.’ in 1920. For more than 90 years, we have continued to expand our line of activities to become more involved with lifestyle-related industries. Currently, the ALPICO Group focuses on transportation (buses and taxis), tourism and hospitality (hotels and Japanese style ryokan inns), as well as retail (supermarkets) in Nagano Prefecture. Other services include automobile maintenance, insurance and leasing.
