Nakamachi Street
Wander in and out of Kura - filled with crafts, sweets and folk art shops
Nakamachi Street flourished as the center of the castle town and still keeps the nostalgic atmosphere of the Edo Period (1603 – 1868) to this day. The street is filled with well-preserved old buildings, including the Kura (warehouse) style buildings that are more than 100 years old. Visit craft shops or cafes serving the traditional sweets.
