Please read before making an inquiry:

1. This is a non-reserved bus; you cannot reserve a seat in advance. Please purchase your ticket on the day of boarding. If you board the bus at a stop without a ticket counter, you can buy your ticket onboard. This bus rarely fill up, so no need for concern.

2. This bus operates every day, yearly.

3. We typically update this timetable twice: in late March for the schedule from 4/17 to 11/15  and in early November for the schedule from 11/16 to 4/16. If the new schedule is not yet available, please be patient for its release. We kindly ask that you refrain from inquiring about the new timetable, as we cannot provide more details than what is available on the timetable page. The timetable is not expected to change significantly from last year, so please refer to the timetable from the previous year until the updated one becomes available.

4. We do not accept reservation requests, regardless of the number of passengers or requests from travel agencies.

5. This bus has a luggage compartment where you can stow your suitcases. There are no restrictions on the number or size of items. Items such as ice axes, poles, pickaxes can potentially damage other passengers’ luggage. Please store them inside your backpack or carry them separately in a dedicated cover or bag. Loading and unloading of luggage is your responsibility.

6. For daytime buses, bicycles can be stored in the trunk. Bicycles should be disassembled and packed in a dedicated bag for assembly-type bicycles or in a specific bag for folding bicycles.

8. If you board the bus from Shirahone Onsen, you can pay the bus fare with the driver or bus staff. (Cash only)

【Child Fare】

・Child fare is half the adult fare.
・Child fare applies to children under 12 years old.
・For children aged 1-11 years must have a child fare ticket due to seat belt requirements.
・Infants or toddlers who cannot use a seat belt due to their height should be securely held with a baby carrier or similar device. If they don’t occupy a seat, they can ride for free per one accompanying adult. However, in cases of full capacity, we may have to refuse boarding to comply with legal vehicle capacity requirements. Therefore, we recommend making seat reservations or purchasing a ticket for all infants and toddlers, even if they don’t require a seat. (We cannot know if the bus will be fulled or not until the departure time.)
