In the Hakuba area from the bottom to the top of Mt. Hakuba at an altitude of up to 2932m, you can enjoy outdoor sports throughout the year, including snowboarding and skiing in winter, and climbing and rafting in summer.
There are also many visitors from overseas, and plenty of accommodations such as hot springs, restaurants, cafes and bars, and a bustling, fulfilling nightlife.
The route connects from the Nagano sta. of the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Hakuba in approximately 1 hour.
There are downtown streets branching out from the front of the Nagano sta., and the spirit of the ancient capital is still alive around the Zenkoji Temple. Nagano is a large tourist city where the past and present live together.
