From Takayama Bus Center, take the bus bound for Matsumoto and alight at K-20 Sawando Bus Terminal. Then, transfer to the Shinshimashima – Norikura Kogen bus at the same stop (K-20 Sawando Bus Terminal).
Pay the bus fare for the Takayama to Sawando BT section at Takayama Bus Terminal, and pay the bus fare for the Sawando BT to Norikura section directly to the driver.

From Norikura, take the bus bound for Matsumoto and alight at K-20 Sawando Bus Terminal. Then, transfer to the Matsumoto – Takayama bus at the same stop.
Please note that the bus with the (※) mark, departing from Norikura Kogen Tourist Info Center at 17:06, does not go to Sawando bus terminal. Instead, get off at Oyako-daki at 17:21 and board the Takayama-bound bus at 18:43, arriving in Takayama at 20:18.
When boarding from Norikura and Sawando Bus Terminal, please pay the bus fare to the driver twice.

Please take a bus from Takayama to Matsumoto, and alight at the K-17 Oyako-daki bus stop. Afterward, cross the road to the opposite side and transfer to a bus heading to Norikura from the K-17 Oyako-daki bus stop.
Please pay the bus fare to Oyako-daki bus stop at Takayama Bus Center’s ticket office, and pay the bus fare to Norikura in cash to the driver twiceat the Oyako-daki bus stop. The fare chart is at the bottom of the page.
Additionally, be aware that there are no toilets or shops near the Oyako-daki bus stop.

Please read before making an inquiry:
1. This is a non-reserved bus; you cannot reserve a seat in advance. Please purchase your ticket on the day of boarding. If you board the bus at a stop without a ticket counter, you can buy your ticket onboard. This bus rarely fill up, so no need for concern.
2. This bus operates every day, yearly.
3. We typically update this timetable twice: in late March for the schedule from 4/17 to 11/15 and in early November for the schedule from 11/16 to 4/16. If the new schedule is not yet available, please be patient for its release. We kindly ask that you refrain from inquiring about the new timetable, as we cannot provide more details than what is available on the timetable page.
4. We do not accept reservation requests, regardless of the number of passengers or requests from travel agencies.
5. This bus has a luggage compartment where you can stow your suitcases. There are no restrictions on the number or size of items. Items such as ice axes, poles, pickaxes can potentially damage other passengers’ luggage. Please store them inside your backpack or carry them separately in a dedicated cover or bag. Loading and unloading of luggage is your responsibility.
6. For daytime buses, bicycles can be stored in the trunk. Bicycles should be disassembled and packed in a dedicated bag for assembly-type bicycles or in a specific bag for folding bicycles.
